I do have a question about the tire pressure monitoring sensor...I'm told it will work just fine. It just has to be reset and my speedometer needs to be calibrated for the tire size. Is there any truth to this or is anything else I should worry about?

Just my .02, since I sell/sold rims and tires. It would be more than wise for you to hold off on installing those wheel til winter is over. If you live in an area that uses salt on roads during winter, the salt will eat the chrome finish and those nice purdy wheels will begin to peel and the chrome will flake off.

And good luck getting 1 warrantied

Very cool! Your sensors will work fine. The sensors mount on the back lip of the wheel. There will be regular air stem on top lip of the wheel so you can add air. I have 26" Dub Bombers and have not adjusted the speedo.

I think you have it reversed. My 26" wheels and tires are larger then the 17" wheels and tires that came on my truck. Therefore I thought it would read slower. Regardless I didn't think it was worth messing with.

No, one revolution of a larger tire will be a further distance. So the speedometer will read slower than you are really going unless you get it recalibrated...or you can calculate it with online tools and just adjust your speed accordingly.

In addition to you going faster than the speedo indicates, you are also accumulating miles faster on the odometer.

Is that really true that it puts more miles on your truck with larger tires?? Because i have a Sierra on 37" tires and iv put 50,000 miles on it just around town since july of 2006. Just didnt know if thats true or not. and whoa that is ironic up above.

Nope not true, if anything you get further distance to the mile because miscalibration!
