Has anyone else removed the stock running boards off their ride? My issue is that there is now a gap between weather stripping in the door and the door bottom that the running boards covered up. By no means were the running boards an exact fit to cover this but enough that crap didn't get into the inside rocker panel and inside of the bottom of the door. Was curious if anyone has a fix for this as the dealer doesn't have a clue. I can't imagine that GM wouldn't expect someone to take off the crappy stock running boards.
