2015 Tahoe keyless access RKE transmitter original key lost

I recently purchased a used 2015 Tahoe LTZ. The original key 1 was not with the vehicle so the dealer programmed a new unit. This is a keyless access RKE unit with push button start. The vehicle will not recognize it as key or driver 1 which defeats the purpose when you have two drivers using it. I'm thinking it's a programming issue as why would GM allow a key that was missing to not get de-programmed from the vehicle. Any thoughts or solutions?

Problem resolved! It's a matter of "removing" all keys from the system, and re-programming the keys to the vehicle. Thanks to my local dealer for resolving the issue!
