Please watch this 4 minute Video to see what my issue is regarding the rear defroster https://youtu.be/0jRllrgk-Vs

I know this is a common problem with Tahoes and the rear defroster. I have read many posts regarding peoples issues and the Defroster Tabs falling off. Since my Purchase of my 2011 Tahoe Z71 in January of 2014, I have brought my Tahoe in for the rear defroster 5 times already for repair. The passenger side tab keeps falling off. The dealership has soldered the tab 3 times already and replaced the glass twice. Still any fix does not last more than 24 hours. I have taken the troubleshooting into my own hands, because the dealership just seems to fix the issue and not troubleshoot themselves. After my recent glass replacement, I decided to start the vehicle and use an IR thermometer to see how hot the tabs get. Turns out the drivers side tab gets to about 130 degrees F, and the passenger gets to about 220 degrees F. I captured this all on video, located on my YouTube channel. After 10 minutes of the Rear Hatch being opened and shooting video of all this capturing the temperatures, I closed the hatch normally, upon opening the hatch again, the passenger side tab has fallen off once again. I cant even tell you how frustrated I am with this ongoing issue. Its not a matter of the Wire being too tight, cause its not. Its a matter of the Tab getting extremely hot, causing the solder to fail. Can anyone please tell me how do I go about fixing this. is there maybe a piece of equipment I can put "inline" with wiring to stop such an extreme amount of voltage or heat to the rear tab? PLEASE HELP!!
