My local Chevy dealership wants me to replace front rotors & pads at 44,700 miles... pads are down to 2mm but the rotors look fine other than usual outer ring of corrosion.

There is some slight brake judder on a local steep hill within the first 3 miles of driving in the morning but after that it smooths out so I do not believe there is any warping of the rotor.

Seems like a typical dealer 'rip off' - any thoughts?

Doubt you need rotors slap some genuine GM quality pads on there but do have the rotors machined and go from there rotor should be fine at only 44k
