I have a 2011 Tahoe with just under 13k miles on it. I have owned it about a year, but have recently noticed a sort of jerky throttle when accellerating or just cruising around at 40mph. So, when stopped, I put it in neutral, and rev'd the engine a little. When slowly pressing the gas pedal down, it revs to about 1000-1100 RPM, then pauses (sometimes the RPMs actually dip), and then it continues revving normally.
I know, there are a lot of people who talk about hesitation being normal - but this isn't hesitation... it's in the middle of the rev, not the beginning. Further, I am confident this did not occur until recently.
I have taken it to a dealer (trying to take advantage of the warranty) - and was told that since it's not throwing any codes, there's nothing to go by. What a load of crap. If I smash a tail light, I don't need a CEL to tell me something is wrong - but I digress.
Anyways, anyone have any experience with a similar problem?
