I know engine swaps have been discussed time and again but there is always one more combination.
Mine for example. I'm looking a stripped 2010 tahoe, 4x4 with no engine/trany. So some thoughts I had was:
1. What hassel would it be to put in a LSA engine, the supercharged one that comes from the 2009 cadillac cts-v?
a. I've seen some talk about wiring harnesses. Would this be an issue with this engine?
b. Would this engine bolt up to say a 4x4 4l80e transmission?
c. Any other suggestions for a trany with this engine.
2. Another thought was using the L9a or L92, 6.2L aluminum, engine from say a Silverado/Denali/Escalade or what ever I could find the cheapest from then putting on a supercharger.
a. Would any L9x work or does the engine have to be from a 4x4 vehicle?
b. Again any harness problems?
c. Any suggestions as to trany with the L9x?
Thanks
Carl
