The heated and cooled seats quit working in my 09 Tahoe LTZ. I've read online that the main cause of this issue is the seat control module. I'm wondering a couple of things.

1 - has anyone else had this problem and was this the fix

2 - I believe the seat control module is under the drivers seat and requires removal of the driver's seat. Is that a time consuming, difficult process?

Thank you in advance...

Did you check the fuse? Are the lights on the door lighting red or blue when you push it? Do you stuff anything under the seat? Lights? guns? Key map?

I didn't check the fuse but will. All other aspects of the seat function. The lights do turn red and blue depending upon which one selected. Nothing was stuffed under the seat. I've checked all connections under the seat and everything looked good. I did read that the seat control module can become 'logic locked' and unhooking the battery for up to 48 hours can clear it. I've worked on electronics all my life and I can't see why it would take any more than a few minutes rather than 48 hours to clear any type of logic lock.
