I found a black tube with a long fuse inside of it (maybe 4 inches long) wrapped in plastic. I assume it's a fuse - could be a spare lightbulb of some kind but not sure. It's not like any normal fuse in the fuse box and seems small for a bulb. There nothing else in my gargage that this could be from and I am worried this fuse wasn't installed at the factory or when it reached the dealer. The black tube actually look like is threads into something. Does anyone know what this is?

Welcome to the Tahoe Forum. How do you know it came from the Tahoe? If you're sure it did, I'd take it to the dealer and ask them what it is and where it goes.
