Why doesn't Chevrolet offer the Tahoe in Victory Red like they do the Avalanche? I am not a huge fan of the dark metallic red they offer being in the fire service. I am told that you can order a special factory color via a fleet order code. I would like to order a new 2008 LTZ in Victory Red. Anyone have any experience in doing this?

I guess the reason they offer different colors is they are manufactured at different locations. That's no reason, they couldn't offer the same colors, I know some of the colors, cross both models.
Hopefully, someone else can tell you how to get the color you want.

In order to be able to order the Victory Red under a Fleet order, you would have to provide proper documentation showing that you are a Municipality or FD od PD, etc.
I think the whole idea behind a Fleet order is a multiple car order....not absolutely sure though.
