The reverse lights want to stay on. Happens when clicking the key fob to unlock the car (all lights come on), as well as after having shifted the car out of reverse. We can usually get it to go off by clicking lock/unlock several times on the key fob, or shifting in/out of reverse several times. Ended up pulling the fuse, but need to address this since towing season is upon us soon and my boat trailer uses the signal from the reverse lights to deactivate the brakes when backing up. Took it to an independent shop that changed out an external part on the transmission (can't remember the part) but the lights still stayed on. Thoughts?

Turns out, they believe it's the fuse box. It just started one day out of the blue back in January. We first attributed it to a cold spell we were having; seemed logical! Put the fuse back in this past weekend, and same thing. Truck only has 95K on it. Parts and labor appear to be running approx. $580; glad it's paid for.
