I just replaced my chrome LT emblems with Virginia Tech ones and added chrome to the running boards. What do you think?

As a fellow Hokie, the title of your thread caught my eye. I was expecting to see your Tahoe in Sport Red Metallic with Burnt Orange pin stripping down the side. Nonetheless, the switching of the LT emblems to VT's are sweet!!!!! Think I might do the same to mine.

I think that truck looks sweet bro. If anything, I think it would look great with chrome door handles to match the running boards. Probably the mirror caps too. Nice ass truck.

We just got it last week. So far it's pretty cool, but where's the porn that everyone talks about? I can't find it anywhere....

I found them at AJ Prindle for $8.48. http://www.ajprindle.com/products/sku-13131__id-125__orderby-nw.html
They are chromed metal, not cheap plastic. They are made by Chrome Emblems, but it is cheaper to get them from AJ Prindle. Unless AJ Prindle doesn't have your school of choice.

Like the chrome on the side steps. I did the same. Did you also do the rear bumper step? Now you just need Esky Roof Rack, Chrome Handles, and wheels and you will be all set..hehe.

I did put it on the rear bumper and around the bottom of the hitch receiver. I want to replace the gold bowties with chrome ones also.

We only suck in January.

What's OU and Marajuanna have in common?

They both get smoked in bowls.

Sooners have become enlightened, is that a good or a bad thing?:smilielol:

I will have to say you guys are very civil and cool compared to the 70-yr. old lady that told me to F@@K OFF at the game a few years back. Nothin' but love for some fellow BEAST owners:cool:

Looks good w84. Although a wider chrome strip might have worked better. I used 3/4" on my running boards and rear step.

Also, you can remove the yellow emblem from the rear bow-tie, leaving it chrome, in about 5 minutes. Do a search for the how-to.

I had thicker chrome on the running boards, but the sharp curve at the back caused the chrome to come off after a couple of months and a trip to the salty ocean air:mad2: So I went with the smaller more flexable strip.

Thanks, I will have to look the how to up.
