I have a 2007 LT 4x2 with 79k miles bought new in Feb 2007. 5yr warranty has expired. We have a slight vibration when slowing down and speedometer is at about 20mph and in Drive. Also, a slight clunk at acceleration from stop. This has been ongoing for several months, since 75k mi?

Issue confirmed by Chevy dealer service foreman, does not occur in N or 3. I am due to drop-off on Monday morning for checkup. I had new brake pads and machined rotors and service work and subsequent recheck by another shop. We drive city/highway conservatively and do not deal with any adverse weather conditions in AZ or travelling and we do not tow. I do not believe we've ever had the tranny system/fluid checked only level checked.

My question- Is there any way to find a specific TSB or to pleading my case to this dealership service department, selling dealership, or a regional office for some sort of restitution or assistance in what may be a large sum to fix the issue if it is tranny related? Or might it be negligence on my part for never having the systems checked? I was trusting the On-Star Diagnostic report- Diagnostic: Complete. No action needed.

Questions/comments? Thanks-
