Hi all, noob here :)

Me and the wife recently purchased an 07 Yukon. It came standard with the aux. jack input on the factory stereo system. I have plugged my iPod into it, but for some reason, it only sounds like the sound is coming out of the front speakers, and its quite noticable. Is this just the nature of the iPod, or is there something I'm missing

TIA!

Make sure you are plugged in all the way. That will happen if it is loose, same thing with the headphones. Only one side will work if you don't have it plugged in all the way.

Also check your stereo settings. I have noticed that the stereo retains the settings for each paticular mode. For example I turned up the bass to 5 on the cd player but when I switched to FM the bass is set at 1. Switch back to listen to CD and the bass is back to five. Pretty cool.

the same thing happened to me. It ended up being that the cable was bad. I replaced it and that fixed the problem.
