I have a 2007 Tahoe LT with 5.3 Flex fuel. What is the best exhaust to put on brand, single or dual outlet, and will it affect the Active Fuel Management System?

What are your goals (power, sound, mileage, etc.)?

The exhaust will not affect AFM (at least I have not observed any). Although the sound change from V8 to V4 is noticable.

Mileage and sound mainly, power is my main objective. However, it is my wifes truck she wants the mileage and sound in that order. I drive diesel power. I have to start dressing it up too now, (the Tahoe not mine:nonod:)

I'd hate to be the one who bursts your bubble but you will not get any mileage improvement from exhuast system alone. Some guys here will have some off the wall claims, you're an adult believe what you want, the new aftermarket-exhuast will prove a more free flowing exhuast and will also will also create a beefer, meaner, like you got a pair sound depending on which model you go with. I personally run a flowmaster 50-Series dual out not too loud but it is noticed when I punch it on take off and melow's out at crusing speeds.

Personally I'd go with a programmer or custom tune you may notice a small increase 1 or 2 mpg.

Based on my experience with silverado's I would definitely say Corsa, pricey but very nice. None of that annoying drone most other brands put off.

Yeah, go with Magnaflow or Flowmaster. In my opinion, they are the best sounding and relatively light on the wallet. With just an exhaust, there will be no noticable increase in power or mileage. You'll need an intake, exhaust, and programmer to get any noticable increases in power. A good set of headers and high flow cats would be icing on the cake. Of course your mileage will go down especially with a heavy foot to hear all that goodness :).
