2005 Tahoe just died in interection last nigh...

Hey guys my wifes 05 Tahoe with the 4.7 V8 died in middle of intersection last night.

She just got off the freeway, and came to stop light. Engine died. No codes. Just cranked and cranked, would not fire up.

Tow truck came and towed home, got home, tried again, just cranked and cranked. I could hear the fuel pump prime the system, so I dont think its the pump...

This morning, cranked and fired right up! WHAT THE HECK?? Any thoughts??
My wife is scarred to drive it with out any fix, doenst want it to die out again..

I wonder if it could be a crankshaft position sensor failing? i just had one go on my saturn and it was very intermittent. usually acted up when the engine got hot. i had one go on my caddillac catera once and it just went out just like that.
when and if it happens again you should check for spark

I would take it by a auto parts store and have the battery checked. It have a short in it. My 2004 Tahoe did this same thing and that was my problem.
