2005 Tahoe Instrument Cluster Message

Has anyone lost power after sitting at a red light and tried going once it turned green? Briefly saw a message come up on the instrument cluster. it read something to the affect of 'TRACTION ACTIVE'. I now see that it relates to the traction control system acting up where it thinks the wheels are spinning when they are actually not. Is this related to the speed sensors located at each wheel?

Wheel speed sensors

I have the same problem but it waits till you are in the middle of the intersection to slow down to a crawl begging for a Tbone. I shut down the Stabilitrac system to stop the slow down. All indications from different forums suggests it's the wheel speed sensors. My 04 LT is in for a fix of a load of little problems. That is one of them.
