I just moved from Gilbert to Phoenix and had to change dealers. My "new" dealer has my 04 Tahoe and just called to tell me it would cost me a little over $700 total for a new water pump. I was not expecting that but then again I haven't had to replace a water pump. 185,000 miles and when you drive her you would never guess it. She is tighter than a tic and runs great. Just curious if that is in the ball park for a dealer cost. He is set set to start on it in the morning. Just seems about 200 too high to me, but I do not have all the details. really would like some feedback if possible.
