I have a 2003 chevy tahoe with 105000 miles on it. Recently as it got hot and we started using the air I have noticed that it sounds like it is dieseling/knocking/pinging/detinating as you take off from a dead stop or when you first start up vehicle. Seems to be when air is on and vehicle has a load on it. Been doing some looking and many have pointed me to the knock sensor. Have no problem pulling manifold and changing but would like a little more confirmation before doing that much work. I have not been able to find anything describing symptoms of a bad knock sensor. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave
