I have a 2003 Tahoe. The battery suddenly died overnight without warning. I have tried boosting and charging but discovered a current draw somewhere. I hooked up an ampmeter and I am showing the current draw on the ignition circuit, attached to the IGN B 40A square fuse in the elec distribution panel under the hood. It is the only fuse that dropped current flow to 0, but strangely I see a current cycle happening. For 16 seconds it reads 0 then for 6 seconds it reads 6 A and it keeps repeating in this manner. This happens even with the fuse removed. I am suspecting it may have something to do with a remote autostart, but it has been installed for 4 years. Any suggestions?
