2002 yukon heater problems

I just bought a 02 Yukon, I noticed that the heater only works if the temp knob is all the way up in the red, I have the temp knob that has blue on the left and red on the right, in between is temp settings (numbers). if I take it off the red even slightly it blows cold air, any suggestions? thanks!

Sounds like it could be an issue with you actuator blend door.
