I have an 02 Tahoe with a list of electrical issues. First off my cluster has quite a few inop gauges such as the battery gauge, temp gauge, and fuel gauge. I have replaced the stepper motors to no avail. Next the park lights do not blink when locking or unlocking the doors. Also, the headlights do not come on automatically at dark, they have to be turned on manually. Next, the daytime headlights work come on in the headlights instead of at the bottom in the turn signal lens. I have checked fuses and relays but after checking and changing bad ones I still have the same problems.

I just purchased this Tahoe and these problems were already there when I bought it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as the head lights usually theres a sensor on the dash i believe people here in Arizona mistakingly cover it up with those stupid dash mats u mite just wanna make sure nothings covering it or the sensor itself is bad i also think it mite be tied into the key remote as well
havent had any of those other problems but before i bought it off my perents
over the period of a year i replaced all the electrical window regulators and motors
if yours are still factory i recomend takin the door panels off and greasing the tracks
on the regulators
also the heating element went out in the drivers mirror also replaced around the same time those are about all the electrical issues ive had so far other then that alotta motor seals and tranny seals **** the bed on me at once
oh and the factory stereo speakers are either blown or just really suck
