When starting it cranks a "little" longer than usual before actually starting. Like 2 seconds longer than just starting right up. Not sure if this is related, but I have also notice, ever once in a blue moon, a delay when pressing the gas.

What could be the issue(s)?

I have put 50,000 miles on it.

IF you think it is plugs, do I need to pay up for the delco oem plugs?

thanks!

I did some research with the info you gave and ran a little test I found. This is what i did:

turned init to start, waited 3 seconds
turned init off
turned init to start, waited 3 seconds
turned init off
turned init to start, waited 3 seconds
turned init off

tried starting and it started right up no problem.

What exactly does this lead to? Fuel Filter? Could it just be crappy gas? I bought some Techron to put in when the tank is empty for a hopeful quick cheap remedy.

If this provides anyone with any more detailed info please let me know.
