I am actually installing an amp and two subs in my buddy's 2001 tahoe while keeping the stock head unit. I believe it is NOT equipped with the Bose system. I'm needing some help identifying where to get my inputs and remote turn on wire from. I've been researching alot, but not finding any consistent information. I have located the stock amp behind the glove box and I was hoping to tap into the wires going to it to obtain my remote turn on wire and inputs. I just don't know which wires to use.
So which wires should I use? From what I saw, going into the factory amp, there is a small plug with only a few wires, consisting of a black, orange, blue, dark green, and dar green w/ black stripe. (this is from memory so I may be a little off) There is also much larger plug, with probably around 20 small wires.
