2000 tahoe sitting

I just turned 15 and got my permit- and i have bought my 2000 z71 from my dad however it is in my sisters garage a few minutes away. it will not be mine mine until i get my license- is there anything i can do to preserve it until i get it?


-it is a 2000 tahoe z71
-160xxx miles
-k&n air filter (not sure which model?)
- i pretty much take it out once a month and bring it to the hwy and just do a quick run down and back the hwy. im not sure if i will constantly do that anymore because school is starting for me.
- i run synthetic amsoil.
- Its fast! it almost beat my bros 98 trans am ws6:drool2:

so if you could let me know any tips to keep it fresh till i own it

fill the tank with super and put dry gas additive , and you must start it lease once a week or you will kill the battery and just move it in and out of the garage once a week

after you get to own it, run seafoam and change spark plugs to get rid of all that build up its going to have from sitting. dont worry about the smoke lol
