Hey guys,

I'm looking at putting on a set fo 20" XD Series Rockstars (black) on my black 07 LT, but the only offset is 35 mm. Its only 4 mm difference than stock, but do you think it would make much of a difference?

I've planning to put on a 2.5" leveling kit up front, and wanted to run the 285/55/20 BFG TAKO's.

Do you think i'll have rubbing issues? I'd like to not have to trim anything if possible.

35mm backspacing is different depending on the widths of your wheels. Those Rockstars are a 20x10 wheel so it will have about a 6.75-7.00" backspacing. You should be ok but there may be an issue with it rubbing on the inside part of the tire/wheel. Hopefully someone will chime in that has them...but I doubt it.

My wheels are +30 but are 9.5" wide. My backspacing is almost 6.5" and I have no rubbing. But that 1/4-1/2" can make all the difference.

Thanks for the input azsctaco, but the ones i was looking at are the 20x8.5.

I haven't seen anyone else running these on a non-lifted 07, kinda the reason i wanted them. I think it would look good all blacked out with an AT tire.

The other option is the 18x9, but those have a +10 offset, and i think those will stick out too far.

Is anyone else running these or something with similar dimensions??

Oh...in that case you will fine. That is about a 6" backspacing which you will have no issue.

Awesome, thanks for the help!

I also liked the XD Series Monsters that Razormaid has here: http://www.tahoeforum.com/showpost.php?p=14661&postcount=28

but those in an 18x9 have a +18 offset. You think those would stick out too far and look funny?

Ideally i'd like to go with 18's (less expensive, more sidewall) but i can't find a good looking set of black off-road looking wheels with the right specs. Everything i come across is for lifted trucks, and i don't really want to throw a lift on this thing yet...

+18 on the 18x9 I think will stick out to far.....unless you plan on a 6" lift and 35's, it will look funny.

Be patient on your wheel search......it's almost over whelming with all the wheels out there to choose from.
