Anyone have any experience in removing the long side glass in a 2 door? I'd like to replace the rubber trim around the glass. Is it bonded to the glass at the factory and are they and the glass still available anywhere?
If the rubber is not available then anyone have any tips for restoring the rubber seal? Thanks in advance!

Anyone know where to go for new Quarter panel glass for a 2 door? Actually my glass is ok but the rubber trim that is bonded to the glass is in bad shape, all the glass is out right now for painting and I'd like to replace the rubber or the glass if I have to. Checked with local shops and Rockauto but no luck.

Already talked to them. They don't have the 2 door glass just the 4 door. The 2 door isn't in the catalogue. The rubber is bonded to the glass. I was wondering where all these nice lowered 2 doors were getting their glass. Seems to be pretty hard to come by , even the salvage yards only have a couple 2 doors and they are pretty smashed up.

Oh well.....I've called every glass place in the U.S. I think including Safelite and LMC. Lots of places have the part # in their online sites but when it comes down to calling them and ordering it they find out it's not available anymore. Was gonna pull the glass to paint it since the rubber that is bonded to the window is cracked a little and just replace the side glass with new but now I cant take a chance on pulling the glass even with a professional glass co. pulling it, they wont guarantee that it wont break and if I break one I'm screwed. Just gonna have to do the best prep job we can around the windows and hope for the best.

Bottom line is DONT BREAK YOUR SIDE QUARTER WINDOWS ON A 2 DOOR! Thanks for the help though.
