1st post, please help....

I just picked up an 08 ltz last night and it says autoride on the sticker. I did a search and can only find a 2/3 drop from mcaunys (sp) I wouldnt mind taking the autoride out all together but i called them and they said it was way too labor intensive.I put coilovers on all my cars but can find them. I wont bag it. is there any other options for lowering more than a 2/3 drop?A local shop wants $850 installed and aligned. Thanks for the help.:thumbsup:

Do a search.....this has been discussed many times. Some of the kits that people like and have used are Pedders, DJM, Groundforce, eibach....etc etc.

From what I have read, Pedders makes a nice kit for your autoride so you'll find some threads and vendors that have posted in the past. Good luck

I did an extensive search. My question was specific and all threads I found didnt adress it. my question is, can you do a 3/5 in drop if you dont care about the sensors and lights going on with the autoride? OR, are coil overs available for the truck? the 2/3 wont be enough and I dont really want to spend $850 on something that doesnt accomplish what i'm looking for. Thanks :thumbsup:

I don't know why you would be getting "sensors" & "lights" from McGaughy's 3/5 kit since it is made for the autoride. I would shop around regarding installation prices...you may be able to save a couple of hundred bucks.

I talked to them on fri and the max drop they make is a 2/3 per them for the autoride cars. DJM can do a 3/4 drop with new upper and lower control arms I just need to find a shop that can modify the sensors. I just got off the phone with pro-designs in santa ana and they can. they have done a couple. its going in the shop wednesday for the 3/4drop. It will be $1400 installed and aligned which I think is pretty reasonable. Thanks for your input. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
