I went to restore the factory settings to my PCM from my Jet Power Programmer last night! When it was almost done I got an error 32. The truck only cranks now but won't start. I had it towed to the Chevy dealership today, they connected their computer and called me to tell me there is nothing they can do that PCM will not accept any communication. I called jet performance and they told me that there was a problem in the programming. My question is, can I get a PCM from the same make, model, year, engine Tahoe at a junkyard and hook it up. Will it work? I would appreciate any help, as I am looking to trade it in.

PCM should have a code on it, match it and get it programmed at the dealer..... Probably several years/ makes/ veh's that will work, but check around.

I found a PCM at the local U-Pull-It, Same Make, Model, Year and Engine size. The Service # on the sticker matched to my PCM Oalso. Went to the dealership, installed it, now it cranks and starts, but dies in 3 sec., So I went inside, asked them to flash and reprogram the PCM to stock. They called me a few hours later and everything is fine now. They had to flash the PCM to stock and reprogram the Security feature. All in all, it cost $105 for the labor and $60 to tow it to the dealership. Now I need to send my Jet Programmer to the factory with my dealership reciept so they can reprogram the programmer for future use.
