08 Tahoe remote start runtime???

New to the group.. So if this was posted, sorry,..

I have an 08 Tahoe Z71 with the remote start feature. When you start it, it only runs for 10 mins or so. This morning, it was 3* out. I live in PA, you know... 3* in the morning and low 60's in the afternoon.. Is there anyway to make it run about 20 mins.. I have an aftermarket one on my 05 Tahoe Z71 and it ran for 22 mins.

From what I understand is that if you go through again the remote start process from when it was started, it will add another 10 minutes on to the time remaining.

Just to be clear...

You hit the lock and then the start button and it adds 10 minutes from right then...

If it has been running 2 minutes and you go thru restart process it will only run 10 more or 12 total.

Where are you from in PA?

What is the difference if I do that to add the extra time or just restart it after I notice it shuts off. Poor design if you ask me. Should be user configurable from the menu's.

Guess I have to cash in some favors and see if the dealership can change the time limit. I am sure one of their wondertools can do it.
