I've been working on these vehicles for a while.. just changing the oil and rotating the tires on these 2007+ Chevy Tahoe's and have fell in love with the particular make and model.

Currently drive a 2004 Acura TL, but I need something to pull my Mastercraft boat with in the summers.

I'm around the 15k-17k price range and I can't really afford to spend anymore.

My questions are:

I have been driving Honda's all my life and high mileage has never scared me.. what is considered high mileage on these vehicles?

As far as maintenance goes.. how bad is it?

Can i find a nice tahoe in my price range?

Also is there a specific trim level to stay away from or year model?

Also how is your all's gas mileage... and with towing?

Any help is appreciated...

There are a few issues to look out for but generally they are awesome vehicles. I have an 01 Yukon with 360k on it. I'm fairly certain it's the original engine. The newer engines are a little different but still reliable. Chevy also makes a maintenance friendly vehicle more than the competitors from what I've seen.

Yes you can find one in that price range.
