07 rear view mirror wiring question

hey guys i have some pics i took of under the overhead console that has homelink and dome lighting. my question is for wiring in my radar detector, is this pink wire -- power (pictured) and the black wire -- ground (pictured)
suitable for ignition power?

just brainstorming here::: won't that keep your radar on all the time?? Don't you need a ACC wire to tap into??

if those are indeed the correct wires (haven't installed yet will tonight most likely) and they're wired for the power of the rear view compass/ dimming mirror, they would be ignition power.

ok so that is not the main harness to the rear view mirror as i found out.
i pretty much gave up with splicing into wires.. i just don't like that idea.
however, i am running power from the PDM fuse that controls home link which should be ignition power.

i do have a question:
WHERE is a suitable ground under the dash?! every metal screw has to go into plastic which then goes into metal!!! :cuss:
