07 2d,166000 miles p171

spits amd sputters when accelerating under load and flashes a p171 code
new this year,tranny, spider inj. set, tune up,fuel filter ,o2 sensors . is it possible the mechanic has de-tuned my truck to save his tranny?any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you aquire the injector set from do you know...? P0171 is fuel trim system lean bank 1.. that would be driver side cylinders are not getting sufficiant fuel or a vacuum leakon that side only a vacuum leak rarely causes stuttering on acceleration it can but rare sounds like either early EGR valve or poor fuel injector performance on that bank.. plugged.. loose connection at bulk connector at CPI unit bulk head electrical connector.. etc...

CSFI is what would be used on a 96-2000, is this a 2007 or a 1997? Check for exhaust leaks as well...

@lester.. yea I saw that too only once he said spider injectors and fuel filter figured it was a type O and figured was a 97

if it has a maf I would check that too.

MAF issue would affect both banks I suspect......
