06 Tahoe Outside mirror lights

Just bought an 06 Tahoe. I noticed that it has what I think are entry/puddle lights under the side mirrors. I think they should come on when I use my remote entry fob. They don't. The owners manual does not address this feature. Does anyone know how to activate them? Thanks.

Are you sure they're both not burned out? Mine were when I bought my Tahoe. Just a thought.

Check the Driver Information Center (DIC), if equipped). When you select VEHICLE SETTINGS, there will be an option for PERIMETER LIGHTS. Select ON. If this doesn't help, yours may be burned out.

In the '07+ models, the puddle lamps will only come on if it's dark outside (using key fob).
