04 Tahoe Whirring when Acceleratin

Hey All,

I just signed to ask for help, my '04 Tahoe has been whirring when I accelerate. I had all fluids changed, air filter switch, and oil change. The Engine sounds fine when I had a friend watch and listen with the hood up as I revved the engine a little. My Battery did die a few weeks back but I got new one. Who can diagnose this

That sounds like the fan clutch you need to look under the hood to see if the fan is turning easily...

I will look into that. Thanks! that would give the sound of a plane engine (not as loud obviosuly) when accelerating? I guess thats my best description. Nothing is wobbling or rattling. It just sounds like air. ( im vehicle illiterate although I have been trying to learn small things along the way on weekends)
