03 LS with about 80,000miles
I have noticed in the last week or so, while easily accelerating up a slight incline going between 40 and 60 MPH the tahoe seems to shake (like going over a fast wash-board) in intervals of a few seconds. It does not do it all the time. If you mash the gas and it down shifts, it does not do it. It only seems to happen in 4th gear (i think?), maybe 3rd too, when you give it slight gas - not quite enough to make it shift (but close), but enough to maintain speed. I sat in the 2nd row tonight, and found it even more noticeable. It wont do it if its not under load (going down hill).
It sure feels like something in the power-train to me. Torqure converter???
Anyone got any ideas? I'm not too excited about this...
Thanks!
Chad
