Started losing coolant, thought it might be the heater core, but upon further inspection realized that while the front may be on its way out, the rear core was shot. Bypassed both, and it worked for a week. Yesterday, I got a Low Coolant light and the temp shot up, so I pulled over, let it cool, and refilled.
Now, when I fill the reservoir, it looks like it's pouring out of a hole in the back of the engine block. So tell me...how bad do you think it is, and can I fix it myself?
