01 Yukon A/C

I have a strange problem. After I installed a brake controller on my Yukon, the A/C would start to intermittently stop working. It would work fine for a random amount of time, just to when the temp would get lower enough to begin cycling the compressor. Then the compressor would simply stop cycling. Then if I do nothing, in about 15 minutes, the compressor will begin cycling again. This happened 5 times in an hour period on a last long trip.

I am not sure if the brake controller caused this or not so I unplugged the unit. But the A/C problem continues. I replaced the A/C replay and had the coolant recharged.
