Replaced my front and rear pads and rotors on my 4wd Tahoe today. Did rears, drove it, worked great. Did fronts, they work great, but they are constantly grinding! Doesn't seem like it goes away as much as it should when applying the brakes either, although I can tell the calipers are compressing as they should. It is a very loud grind, and the friction makes the rotors super hot really fast.,,not to mention the neighbors looking at me and the dogs howling. :sad72:

So, what are your thoughts and experiences with this? When I put the new pads on, they seemed a little tight fitting but they matched up well to the old ones. I did put the new hardware that came with the pads in. Oh BTW this is all AC Delco parts.

I am very puzzled. Very puzzled indeed.

One other thing to add...my Tahoe has always gone through rear pads twice as fast as the fronts...never made sense to me...is everyone's doing the same?
