license plate lamp

01 tahoe a few years ago I replaced the bulbs for the plate lamps, but only the right side worked. Been riding with one light since replacement, now both lights are out. I put in brand new bulbs and nothing. Is there a fuse or something I need to check? I looked at the manual, and no fuse was...
