Gearing up to fix my gas gauge, currently going through withdrawals and gots the shakes.. Does anyone know the part # for the stepper motor? I see on ebay you can get these pretty cheap, but so far, I havent seen a specific listing covering 1999 models and dont want to order the wrong...

Hi There, I've got a 1999 Chevy Tahoe that has a fluttering gas gauge. It starts off going back and forth, and doesn't register the proper fuel level at all. Right now I've been going strictly by mileage and refilling the tank as it gets low. What should I check on it? Thanks!

During a normal warm-up, my Temp Gauge jumps right up to pegged when it passes an indicated 168 degrees. She just shoots off the chart way above 260 and stays there. Funny thing is... it doesn't seem hot. Seen it hot before too... my wife drives this one. This is a '98 LS (192,000+ miles)...
