Thanks for the replies.. I'll probably have it looked at soon. I also hate the fact that there is no light on the instrument panel that lets you know if you are in auto, 4H, 4L etc. The steering wheel blocks my view of the light on the knob.
I was driving in some snow and slush with my 4wd set on 4H and got the check 4wd message on the DIC. It automatically went back to 2wd and locked me out of 4wd. On my way home there was no message and it worked fine. Read the manual and it said turn the truck off and if the message still appears...
The sticker inside my drivers door says to put just 32 psi in the tires yet the tires are rated at 44 psi max. The front tires have a little belly in them at 32 so I have them at about 35. What psi should I be using? Thanks.
Those side moldings are a joke for a $40,000+ truck. Mine are kind of wavy when looking down the side of the truck. I would almost rather not have them like the LS models.:cuss:
warranty ?
Is your warranty still valid if you perform your own maintenance work or does it need to be performed and documented by an authorized shop. I have the major guard and usually do all the fluid changes myself at the recommended intervals.
I believe the GM suvs are rated about 7k for towing based on how its equipped. Ford, Nissan and Toyota all seem to be about 9-10k lbs. What is the reason for the much lower rating on the gm, wheelbase, engine, trans, soft suspension?? Thanks
I thought I had heard of others saying their Tahoe, similar to mine, is rated at 7500 lbs towing? I have an 07 4wd w/ 5.3, 3.73, tow pack and locking rear. I thought mine was rated right at about 7k..?
Thank you
Thanks TN- Going to look into it but I have read that the front of the hood is hard to access from behind, of course thats were the dings are. We'll see.
Hi..just wondering if anyone had a dent repaired using this method. I have 2 small dings in my hood in the front vertical part of the hood. There is some reinforcing sheet metal that may prohibit it from being accessed. :confused2:
thanks
