IMO they ARE that class. "Flame" series woofers? Chrome this, chrome that. The company blatantly places looks over sound quality. How about a woofer with a 3" surround, 2" voice coil, and .75" peak to peak excursion. That makes sense. Looks like a bad ass woofer, too bad it's not. Or a 2000 watt...
I'm impressed that you chose nice equipment. As I'm sure you know, most people on online forums end up going with junk (Audiobahn, Lanzar, Xplode, etc.)
Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it looks nice. If the grill was 29.95 at Pep Boys would those of you drooling over it still want it? The answer is no and if you say different you are lying.
And if it was 29.95, every mexican with a tahoe would have one. (No offence to the mexicans)
Excellent point. I should have thought of that. I went to a friend of mine at a dealer before I bought my tahoe and had him pull up the service history because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a "lemon" that someone had traded in. Hopefully it all works out anyhow.
Honestly it would all come down to the judge. Technically you would be entitled to any damages. If you can come up with proof that the claim would cause the value of the vehicle to be lessened, you would be entitled to that amount of money. As I said in my previous post though, I don't see it...
I wouldn't think it to be a big deal, it's just warranty work, not collision damage. It's not going to affect the value, but if it bothers you, I would think it would be grounds for a law suit, but that's pretty much your only option. Sue them for a new truck if they can't remove it from the vin...
Just thought I'd share my experience with adding the 2-way remote to my 07 tahoe. I already had remote start w/o power liftgate so the unit listed for $150.00 and I paid $130.00 for the kit. I needed some warranty work done, so before I went in I installed the kit myself (super easy, just remove...
It does work, not perfectly, but it does (I have an 06 Duramax w/ sirius using the xm antenna) It will cut out occasionally under trees where the sirius antenna wouldn't, but overall well worth not having the extra antenna on the truck. The connector will work also, you just have to remove the...
There's not really such a thing as voiding the warranty, but if you had problems with the radio I would disconnect it before bringing it in that way they don't try and blame the box.
The xm tuner is located behind the glove box on the right side. No tools required to remove it.

For most people i'm sure it is a negative, but i'm not sure a deal breaker for most. One thing a lot of people forget is that for about 1300 bucks you can get Katzkin (or equiv) leather installed in the truck. The kits typically contain about 60% more leather (rather than vinyl) and are much...
Sorry I didn't realize that my post count on tahoeforum.com was a direct link with my intelligence level, but what do I know.
I agree that it shouldn't be made, I just think your original reasoning behind it is weak. Not that I think they are going to make one, but the reasoning behind...
No offence, but if anything doesn't make sence it's your logic here. A 5500lb Hybrid Tahoe makes sense but a 5800lb Tahoe XL doesn't? What's your reasoning behind this? I think the hybrid is a waste of money, but your arguement is weak.
