I believe we have to replace the hydroboost. $175 at partsgeek. How hard are these to replace? I too have lubed everything for years to no avail.

xav8r Thanks for this info. I knew about the 1 to 1 ratio. Could not figure out the rest. Any tips on filling the radiator through the purge tank? Is there a special procedure?

I have the 55 series tires and they ride really nice. They look good as well. Stick with the 55's.

I want to flush the coolant out and replace with Peak Global Lifetime or G-05, but I cannot figure out how much water the block holds. Knowing this is the only way to be sure to get a proper mixture.

Brake fluid should be replaced every two years or so regardless of miles. It absorbs moisture. I bought a Motive brake bleeder. It took about 20 min to replace all fluid. The bleeder makes it a one man job.

I have a 06 2wd with the 4.8. What is the maintenance schedule for the differential and what fluid does it take? With limited slip modifier or without?

My 06 Tahoe has an annoying creaking in the pedal especially when cold. I there any bushings that usually need replacing or is this the sign of a bigger problem like a booster? Any ideas?

Should I fill the radiator through the upper hose first? I hear Dexcool is not good with air pockets.

Does anyone have an aftermarket cover on their transmission or differential. If so which one and how difficult was it to install. Looks like their may be a cable linkage attached to both. I was considering the Mag Hytec, but they make no mention of this on their install.
