Seems like everyone has had to remove the CD player and use a screwdriver to get the cd seated back on the spindle. If I were you I would just rip the thing out and put in an aftermarket radio. You can find a used one for as low as $40. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I put the same unit in my tahoe but it is a 2005. Overall I like the radio (make sure to not skip the micro bypass) install was easy and straightforward but again it is an 05. My biggest dislike with the screen is that it has very limited options. Photos of music you listen to do not transfer...

Just purchased one myself. I quickly swapped out the old faded tails for smoked led ones and swapped the headlights out for smoked ones as well. Have you done anything to yours yet?
