Hey people havent been on in awhile. But im having trouble with GFriends 03 tahoe....its doing that reduced power thing. Ive replaced pigtail at TB that fixed it for awhile. Recently its been reducing power again. But throwing the 2135 code. Any insite on how to rid this reduced power issue...

K people, installed the trans on saturday....everything feels good....shifts well, no odd noises. So i think this one is whooped. Thanks to all who commented! This Forum rocks!!

Good call on the seal.....afew extra bucks is worth th piece of mind. Couple questions, theres a seal retainer clip, is that reusable? And, with tc fully engaged i spin it and it growls (seated too far) i pull it out a 1/16 and spins freely no nise. Is that normal??

Just an update.....we ended up getting a replacement trans. The fella (manager)that was giving me guff about not wanting to replace it last week was not in on monday. So his nice emploee replaced it with a new one. Justvwaiting on this weather to blow through to crawl back under. Guarunteed wont...

Not yet, monday i will find out if theyll eexchange it. Otherwise im just tryn to gather as much about the pump/repair in the event they wont exchange.

Thanks for the link... I actually already have that on my watch list. Lol Ive watched a couple vids on replacing the pump.....doesnt look difficult at all. My question is: when a pump breaks is it likely the rest of the tranny is contaminated with debris?

If im stuck with this trans due to me screwing up the install and breaking the pump. Can i just replace the pump? Or am i looking at needing to pull apart to check for debris?

Reason being, it all went together nicely. TC wasnt binding against flexplate.

Whats the chances the pump was bad already? I dont think wrecking yards test transmissions.

And wrecking wont warranty it if it is a broken pump.....they say they only break upon install.

Thank you for the ssuggestions. Im pretty positive now that it is/was the TC front pump. Because as dad was driving it it let go and now its like in fulltime neutral! Lol
