You have to join the site but the best way is to go to ALLDATAdiy.com and you will have access to all the software/info for your rig, just like in a repair shop.
Yes, you did but you have to be the one who types in the VIN number. Sorry, what I just said is wrong. I was thinking about another forum. I will post a link here for that.
Here is the link at the Chevrolet Forum: https://chevroletforum.com/forum/vindecoder.php
It would all depend on the size/weight of the boat and trailer. Would also depend on the set up on the Tahoe and how you adapt to towing and load leveling hitch and such.
Well, the search is over. I was on my way to Corvallis, Oregon and half way there the seller called and said the 09 Tahoe was sold the day before. Would have been nice to get a call that day instead of when I was already driving there. I turned around and decided while driving back that the 2002...

Been away from shops for a while but isn't the newer models now having that switch at the latch assembly? I may be way off because of rust on the brain cells.
Back again after many moons because of a topsy turvy life and changes. I still have the same 2002 Tahoe in my pic, with the rear barn doors. I really had no idea how rare those rear doors are till you drive around and see Tahoe's with the same body still and they all seem to have the liftgate...
