Well, today a friend with a power probe ect2000 hooked it up and found that his tester was beeping at junction block assy but when he followed loom to fuse panel on left side of dash it quit right after loom exited junction block assy. Have u seen those go bad??

Wish there was some tool that could just pinpoint where shorts were. Not that the courtesy lights are a big deal, but I am on a quest now. You have any pointers or advice? Thanks by the way for all your help thus far.

Are those relays by the park brake area, that is what we couldn find yesterday. And ur advice is to check harness down there? Are the relays diagnosable then?

Will check it out. If u unplug harness from body control module, the meter shows it not shorting to ground. So would that mean it is after the module?? My buddy thinks I will find it easily with some power probe deal. Or will a tech 2 monitor decipher it? Old lady wants interior lights, but...
