    Tahoe won't crank without jumping off. Stays running only for a few minutes when cables are removed. Starter is good and has a new battery. Bought a new alternater and it ran great for a day.

    99 Tahoe has a good battery, a good starter, won't crank without jumping off , as soon as jumper cables are removed shuts off.
