Our 07 Tahoe 5.3L with 79k mi. purchased Feb 07, has the original battery and tests show cranking power is still good. We live in PHX area and garage vehicle most of time. What can we expect on life? What have others replaced theirs with? Brand, amps, warranty.

I am somewhat handy and was able to perform change out on my 07 Tahoe with info from the Internet. I had to drop the bumper, grill, partially remove wheel well cover, etc. For me, I will take into a shop the next time.

check I highly recommend a tranny visual fluid color/pan and brakes check.
